Where enabled, Gemini-assisted features can help with unclear merchant descriptions, unresolved categories or plain-language summaries. Core financial calculations remain independent of generative AI.
These are product areas under active development. Some workflows require supported institutions, available source data, user permission, enabled integrations or further testing; this page is not a promise that all functionality is available to every user.

AI PRODUCT DIRECTION
Lumos Spark: an AI financial companion.
Lumos Spark is the name of the AI companion being developed for Lumos. Its direction is to help users explore their financial activity, understand patterns and think through budgeting decisions in plain language.
Its exact feature set, launch timing and access limits are still being validated. Lumos Spark should not be mistaken for a human financial adviser or a guarantee of financial outcomes.
CURRENT STATUS
A working product in private beta.
The Lumos application is currently in private beta, with testing limited to invited users. This public website explains its principal capabilities and design direction. Feature availability and registration access may change as testing and launch-readiness work continue.
