Brandon Hans Ebrecht (Hans) is a Canadian entrepreneur and financial markets professional with more than two decades of experience in investing, trading and business development.
His background spans equities, foreign exchange, digital assets and investment management, with a focus on financial analysis, capital allocation and risk management. In 2016, he founded KH Capital Management, where he has held leadership responsibilities as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer. His entrepreneurial background also includes brokerage, e-commerce and technology ventures, alongside academic studies in Economics and Biological Sciences.
Hans developed an appreciation for the gap between navigating complex financial markets and managing everyday personal finances. The practical challenges of budgeting, tracking recurring expenses and coordinating shared household responsibilities inspired him to build Lumos.
As founder, Hans leads Lumos's vision and product direction. Now in private beta, Lumos is being developed to help individuals and households understand their spending, create realistic budgets and make more informed financial decisions—without requiring professional financial expertise.
